Well, the outfit sounds right!
A black-tie charity event in Boston was infiltrated by a Mikey impersonator and his 15-person entourage. Actual star, Gladys Knight, was also in attendance. The Boston Herald was not impressed with the faker's appearance, saying that a close look should've given him away. Apparently, those in charge, afraid that it actually might be Mikey didn't want to get close enough to do that and who can blame them really. The Herald described "Mikey" as wearing golf gloves, a cheap leather jacket, hardware store dust mask and sunglasses, saying, "I'm not speaking." We were ready to side with the Herald until we read this: "Jenny Hoefel, an executive with the event organizer, told the Herald "Michael Jackson" did make a donation to the charity, but events organizers haven't checked yet to see if the credit card number is valid." A questionable charitable donation using a dubious credt card? We're thinking it really COULD have been Mikey, now! El linko is here.
