In an update on the Jackson family's plans for a reality series, the NY Daily News reports that
Jermaine's claiming to have a $7 million deal for 13 episodes. He didn't mention who's put up that amount and so far no network is jumping at the chance to televise the behind-the-scenes peek at the cauldron of dysfunction that produced our Mikey. And speaking of Mikey, Jermaine is also making the promise that the he will make 5 appearances in the series, too! How he can make that promise considering that no one's been able to ahold of Uncle Mike of late, not even Mama Kat, is anyone's guess. Janet and Randy are abstaining from appearing in the series, so don't ask. Most interesting, the Jackson family apparently has stockpiled footage of them riding to the courthouse for the molestation trial's verdict, wherein Mikey is seen rocking furiously, Bible on lap, comparing himself to Job! Missing footage includes that of Mikey celebrating with his family after his acquittal — he thanked them for their support by sending them away and for the most part they haven't seen him since. That Mikey... all about the love! Read about it

hey, enya, check the archives link for this blog for a piece on the singles' releases... and, yeh, those katrina victims will have to wait till mikey tries to re-fill his coffers...
mikey's more like a russian doll than can'o'worms... you lift one mess out and there's always another inside...
it'll be interesting to see who does buy the tripe this time 'round... they're being released in the UK, so they will probably be more expensive as imports here, i think... y'think arby's xmas bonuses will cover the additional costs?
ahem: long-ago, former, never-to-be-seen-again, hits!
