Say, say, say...

While we wait for the latest installment in the endless 'Life of Mikey' farce, we thought we'd share something funny-strange and funny-haha sent to us recently. It's called the Michael Jackson Soundboard and it's a frightening/funny/freaky place. On this soundboard you can sample soundbites from Mikey's many interviews, some familiar, some less so, all of them horrifying/hilarious. First of all there's that voice: sometimes drowsy, druggy — other times helium-laced and cartoony — there are the classic "hee-hees" and hiccups, the less-than-convincing denials and angry exclamations and of course the self-serving and pitiable pleas for understanding. We have several faves, including the drag queen worthy: "I was out-raaaaaaaaged"; the bone-chillingly whiny-for-a-man-in-his-40s "Can I stay with you tonight?"; the mysterious "It was very swollen" and the now-classic "Doo-doo and feces" and "What's wrong with sharing your bed?" lines. Yes, the weird pronunciations are there (Culkin is pronounced "Cuh-kin" and children becomes "chih-dren") as well as the sing-songy delivery. You'll chuckle, gag, shudder and gnash your teeth — at least we did! Visit the soundboard here and be sure to let the intro music finish playing, the bites will then appear.
