Jermaine: Cuckoo, cuckoo!
We know the Jackson family's a mess in a way few families can lay claim to ... but, just when you think you've heard it all something new comes along that stretches their hefty mess bag still further. Witness the revelation in the last few days of a book proposal pitched by Jermaine Jackson in 2003, and written by Stacy Brown, now-former family friend. In that proposal Jermajesty's pop tells it like it T - I - S about Mikey's drug and alcohol use, unnatural friendships, lab-based fatherhood and their father, Joe's, abuse of two of the Jackson sisters. It also lays out some of the more bizarro notions held by the Jackson family about their importance and place in the universe: didju know that it was actually Mikey who came up with the idea for Dreamworks?! And, that's why he's anti-semitic?! Of course, right on cue, as Roger Friedman points out, Jermaine is protesting this version of the proposal and claiming to have the 'real' one in his possession. Or at least that's what he told Larry King on his show. Roger was able to find a copy of the proposal himself and it bears out the Stacy Brown version, and in Jermaine's own words... so, it remains to be seen if Jermaine will follow through with his threatened lawsuit over this issue... just as it'd be interesting to see what his version of the proposal looks like. Rog's column is pretty funny as it lays into Jermaine's lies through the years (on Larry's show mostly) and details his grandly delusional notions... Too bad Mikey's so insulated from reality and the outside world... it'd be interesting to see his reaction to his brother's assertions... Rog's latest is here. Dontcha just love Jermaine in that arab drag?! He looks like a waxwork creche figure who's bearing bullshit instead of myrrh. And, just for fun we're posting a pic of Minnie Foxx, too! Remember, she's the jazzy, sangin' sistah that's keepin' down-with-da-bruthas attorney, and Mikey emancipator, Tom Mesereau, warm at night... or should we say: hot?! She was at some event in Hollywood at the time. Yes, we're afraid, too! Yes, we know Raymone has weighed in on this book proposal mess, and no, we aren't spending any more time than that discussing her. We can only hande so many nutcases in one post!NOTE: Our contractor's flaked on us so we've reconnected till tomorrow (while gnashing our teeth to avoid murder). We hope we're not woefully late with this post.
